To celebrate World Quantum Day on April 14th, the IoPZg hosted a series of educational activities dedicated to quantum science, bringing together physics teachers from across Croatia. The program featured a lecture on cutting-edge quantum technologies, guided tours of the Institute’s laboratories, and informal discussions with researchers. As part of the event, Ticijana Ban presented a live demonstration of an experiment with cold rubidium atoms, offering teachers a hands-on insight into the fascinating world of quantum research. Ticijana Ban (IoPZg) gave a lecture at the Department of Physics Colloquium, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, titled "Advancing Quantum Technologies with Cold Atoms." The colloquium was intended for physics students and was followed by an informal discussion, where the speaker engaged with students on topics related to career paths for young scientists.
